Job Summary 

Oversees all accounting operations for the plant including, but not limited to, billing, AIR, AIP, inventory, cost accounting and revenue recognition. 

Primary Responsibilities 

• Follows safety procedures and guidelines as established by Management. 
• Prepares month-end closings, financial forecasts and consolidations. 
• Provides financial advice through the study of financial data.
• Meets corporate reporting requirements.
• Ensures accuracy of physical inventory and controlling of the flow of raw materials and other assets.
• Manages month-end closing and prepares monthly financial statements.
• Ensures accuracy of raw materials physical inventory. 
• Establishes comprehensive set of controls and budgets aiming at mitigating risks and exposure. 
• Enhances the accuracy of the plant's reported financial results. 
• Ensures that reported results comply with U.S. General Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Prepares forecasts of income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flow.
• Monitors and implements plant internal controls ensuring reporting integrity.
• Additional duties as required.

• Be task oriented, able to plan, implement, and complete tasks. 
• Excellent communication skills. 

Experience/Education Requirements:

Education: BS degree in Accounting; CPA preferred. Proven working experience as Controller. Minimum of 10 years experience in Heavy Industry or related industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory accounting and financial statement analysis Demonstrated expertise with financial software and SAP. Good planning, organizational and analytical skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
