Help Implement New & Innovative Programs

Leake & Watts, a not-for-profit agency providing child welfare,
early childhood, special education and disability services is seeking
to fill important leadership roles at our Middle/High School in
Yonkers, NY and the Biondi Elementary School in the Bronx.

The main responsibility of the teacher is to provide instruction and
supervision within a therapeutic classroom and to implement the
philosophy of education as outlined in school policy.

Teacher Qualifications:
-Certification as a Special Education Teacher in NY State
-M. A. in Special Education preferred.
-Content Certification preferred.
-Ability to work with a diverse population.
-Ability to individualize instruction in a classroom setting.
-Ability to communicate and work within a therapeutic environment.
