Chief Embryologist (Winston-Salem, NC) sought for the rapidly emerging field of ART (Artificial reproduction technology); to perform the clinical laboratory services required for an in-vitro fertilization cycle, the full range of andrology services preliminary and preparatory to the IVF procedures. Perform laboratory quality control (QC), quality assessment (QA), and participate in quality improvement (QI) programs, record keeping and data collection. Perform thawing and embryo preparation for Frozen Embryo Transfer; perform cryopreservation (vitrification) of embryos for saving; perform biopsies of embryos requiring pre-genetic screening (PGS) and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) testing. Supervise training and updating and monitoring of protocols. Requires medical degree or foreign equivalent or Master of science degree in biology, laboratory sciences, medicine or animal sciences and 2 years' experience in job or 2 years' experience as clinical embryologist performing in-vitro fertilization and the full range of andrology services preliminary and preparatory to the IVF.
