Computer Information Technologist

The Hospital Industry Data Institute (HIDI), the data company of the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA), is seeking a computer information technologist to process and troubleshoot state hospital association discharge data submission. An associate's degree or equivalent training and experience is preferred. A minimum of one to two years of experience working in a related setting is desirable. Must be able to regularly perform data processing duties including collection, editing, processing and reporting of data and serve as a daily state client contact to provide technical assistance and train hospitals on the submission of discharge data. An understanding of hospital claims processing and hospital familiarity is desirable. Knowledge of database concepts and technical experience using Universe and the BASIC programming language is preferred. HIDI is an equal opportunity employer with a smoke-free work environment.
