Job Summary: |
The Disaster Recovery Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining the overall plans for executing all Disaster Recovery procedures and understand their interdependencies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, establishing and maintaining detailed Disaster Recovery communications with control plans through a change control process, working with the IT technical staff to ensure that Disaster Recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle, and developing and understanding all testing necessary for a successful Disaster Recovery execution. The Disaster Recovery Coordinator will also schedule and lead all Disaster Recovery exercises and provide ongoing feedback for risk management, mitigation, and prevention. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field and two years of computer support and customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong working knowledge of Windows 7 and MS Office required. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Experience with disaster recovery strongly preferred. PC related experience preferred. Experience with web browsers, e-mail systems, and networked computers/printers as well as familiarity with large networked environments, TCP/IP network protocol, Novell, and Active Directory preferred. Knowledge of different power types and connectors preferred. |
