Job Description
The Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, Chief of Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Clinical Rotations is responsible for the clinical continuum of medical education from acquiring, developing and maintaining rotation sites to overseeing GME development, maintenance and placement.
Required Qualifications
*Masters degree; Ph.D.; M.D.; D.O. or equivalent; and *at least 5 years experience in hospital administration or graduate medical education.

Develop and implement strategic business plans to foster the maintenance and advement of the LMU-DCOM brand name and footprint

Participate in funding and position negotiations with affiliated hospitals;

Conduct educational workshops for programs;

Conduct mock site visits for programs;

Be prepared to serve as the Designated Institutional Officer (DIO) for LMU-DCOM sponsored programs;

Oversee all ACGME-accredited programs of the Sponsoring Institution;

Oversee and administer the Sponsoring Institution s programs and responsibility for assuring compliance with ACGME Common, specialty/subspecialty-specific Program, and Institutional Requirements;

Review of ACGME Annual Institutional Reports (AIR)
Job Duty
Meet as needed with Site Directors and Program Directors;
Job Duty
Meet with Residents/Fellows regarding GME concerns;
Job Duty
Attend Resident Council, House staff and Senate meetings;
Job Duty
Conduct program evaluations;
Job Duty
Monitor discipline of site director and program director performance and serve in the process for disciplinary action;
Job Duty
Work with site directors and program directors on program resource needs;
Job Duty
Oversee GME financing agreements, resident contracts, adjunct faculty contracts, and payment for rotation and resident training;
Job Duty
Manage and complete required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of the University

Oversee and supervise the acquisition, development and maintenance of clerkship rotation aaffiliations and instritutional sponsorship affiliations;
Job Duty
Develop policies for minimum core site program size and market compatibility
Job Duty
Develop processes for clinical core site visits and field note filing and analysis
Job Duty
Optimize aggregation of data and reporting of student feedback to clinical faculty
Job Duty
Develop and provide the necessary reporting and financial functions of the department including medical student and resident tracking reporting;

Provide direction, assist in the development, and marketing of all LMU-DCOM shared services provided to medical students, residents, teaching faculty and hospital providers;
