Department Description:

Performs a variety of Environmental Services duties under the direction of leadership. Duties will involve complete cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, corridors, public rooms, offices, other designated areas as needed and the changing of cubicle curtains. Responsible for the daily cleaning, room turnover cleaning and terminal cleaning of specialty areas including but not limited to: Emergency Department, Operating Rooms. Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 Hours per Week

• Evening Shift; 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

• Position located at Baystate Wing Hospital, Palmer, MA

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Experience working in custodial or healthcare setting.

• Customer service and/or prior healthcare experience dealing with patients, their families, visitors and hospital staff preferred.

• High level interpersonal skills, must be able to read, write and speak English.

• Adhere to system and department policy and any applicable laws and regulations.

• Ability to use pager or tele-tracking system.
