You will be led by an IT Supervisor and be an important member of the KCEL LIMS Project Team. This team supports and maintains the application while participating in the modernization effort which encompasses all areas of the custom software development lifecycle including customer interaction, eliciting user requirements, extracting requirements from the existing codebase, workflow analysis, designing, data modelling, programming, reviewing others code, assisting with test plans, testing, and formally documenting all work. The LIMS Project Technology Stack: On-prem Oracle database server, Oracle SQL, C#, .Net 6, Azure App Service hosted Web APIs, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, React, Typescript, Telerik React UI components and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). This position is exempt from the FLSA provisions and is not overtime-eligible. Work Location and Telecommuting Option(s): KCEL is at 322 West Ewing St., Seattle WA 981119. This work may be performed predominantly by telecommuting; with a full or hybrid on-site work option available depending upon your preference. You will occasionally be required to be on-site in single or multiple day clusters for specific meetings. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection (access may be supplemented in some situations) where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours. Please note that when an employee conducts work that is likely to bring them in contact with another individual, safety precautions are required, including the wearing of masks in some situations.
