ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR

Waynesburg University is seeking applicants for the position of Admissions Counselor. This is an entry-level professional sales/marketing position for which a bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license are required. Candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, have the capacity to learn new technologies, and have the ability and willingness to travel on behalf of the University for extended periods. Occasional weekend work is required.

Responsibilities will include all facets of the recruitment process, including representing the University at college fairs and high school visits (travel required), meeting with prospective students and their families at on-campus personal visits and events, communicating with prospective students and parents throughout the recruitment cycle, working with faculty and staff across the University to ensure successful enrollment of students, reviewing applications and making admissions decisions, and other duties as assigned. Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the University’s Mission and a demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith.
