Position Focus:
The incumbent is responsible for the department's overall finance, payroll and budget functions, which include financial monitoring and revenue generating services and programs. Incumbents are the key financial contact with external and internal stakeholders on behalf of the department, including elected officials, and regulatory agencies.

This position generally works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but the hours will vary depending on activities. Some weekend and evening work may be required. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), meaning that you are not eligible for overtime pay or compensatory time accrual. This position is not represented by a union.
Work Location: DAJD Administration Division, located in the King County Courthouse in Downtown Seattle, WA. Work duties will require occasional access to the adult and juvenile detention facilities and offices in other buildings, including the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent, WA.
