| Job Summary: | The Nurse Practitioner will work independently and in collaboration with the Medical Director in providing diagnostic and treatment services to individuals with work related illnesses and in the screening of high risk groups. Will function as an advanced practice nurse with responsibilities for obtaining complete medical and occupational histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests, and making referrals for ongoing medical care for a shared panel of patients on initial and follow up visits. Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete medical records along with the preparation of required documentation for insurance companies and Workers' Compensation, and in expediting complete and timely follow up of physical findings, diagnostic testing, and medico legal issues for shared panel of patients. Perform preventive activities including participation in screening activities and community and professional educational opportunities. |

| Minimum Qualifications: |
NYS licensed/registered NP required. Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner and current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice also required. CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment. |

Experience in Specialty area. Fluent in Spanish. |
