Position Description

This position is the area expert for digital advertising and will ultimately drive their assigned area to obtain and exceed digital revenue goals.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Closing digital marketing campaigns
  • Coaching Sales Reps across teams
  • Driving Sales and Prospecting Activity
  • Main point of contact on high value digital clients
  • Provide digital product training
  • Ensure digital revenue goals are achieved for your assigned area of the organization. 
  • Go on sales calls with Account Executives to close Digital Sales Opportunities
  • Become an expert in all Hearst DMS products
  • Provide best practices and success stories to the larger digital team

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Related Field
  • Broad knowledge and experience in:  Digital marketing strategy and tactics
  • Above average skills in: Google Analytics, SEO Audits, SEM estimates
  • Excellent skills in: Closing the sale, communicating value to clients
  • Demonstrated ability to: Present digital marketing solutions in a way that anyone can understand while gaining buy-in along the way to ultimately close the sale
  • Demonstrated ability to: Explain the basics of all digital marketing tactics
  • General knowledge of: The competitive landscape in Digital Marketing, products, solutions, sales pitches, etc.
  • Experience in: working remote or from several offices while still meeting objectives
