Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Assistant Program Director in the Domestic Violence Services program at Behavioral Health Network!

**NOTICE**

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Domestic Violence Services program with the following:

  • Providing leadership and direct supervision to the Domestic Violence supervisors who oversee victim and perpetrator service programs.
  • Overseeing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, reporting, grants management, and training in conjunction with the Program Director.
  • Overseeing implementation of best practices, program specifications, and regulations surrounding Domestic Violence guidelines.
  • Assisting with staff meeting facilitation and planning.
  • Assisting with grants, contract management, and consultation on funding resources.
  • Providing effective ongoing evaluation of staff performance.
  • Providing consultation, supervision, and training to staff.
  • Responding to client/staff/provider complaints and mediating as needed.
  • Implementing directions of senior management and attending management meetings, as required.
  • Attending community-based meetings and committees as assigned by Program Director and/or Senior Management.
  • Working collaboratively with Program Director as a liaison between BHN DV programs and local, state, and federal agencies.

What are we looking for in the Assistant Program Director?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a human service-related field (required).
  • At least five years of related experience (required).
  • At least three years of supervisory experience (required).
  • Experience/expertise in Domestic Violence administration (required).
  • Statutory required certification hours (required).
  • Experience collaborating with Perpetrator accountability services (IPAEP) (preferred).
  • Fluency with Social Justice framework for intimate partner violence.
  • Familiarity with the intersection of untreated mental health, trauma, and intimate partner abuse (IPV).
  • Familiarity/expertise with practices associated with survivor-led community-based practice.
  • Familiarity/expertise with MA General Laws pertaining to domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, and harassment.
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with internet, Microsoft office, and email systems (required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
