Community Advocacy and Outreach Manager

Position Summary: 

Under the direction of Bright Future Foundation’s Clinical Director, the Community Advocacy and Outreach Manager coordinates and oversees the implementation of the Ensuring Safety Violence Prevention Program, which will focus on improving school/community climate and safety across the Eagle River Valley region of Eagle County. This will include ensuring the coordination, implementation, and sustainability of cutting-edge primary prevention strategies across the Eagle County School District, Colorado Mountain College, and the Eagle County business sector. The Community Advocacy and Outreach Manager will have a strong focus on collaborative relationship development with the Eagle County School District, Colorado Mountain College, local businesses, BFF Youth Advisors, community Youth Advisors, and the Eagle County community to create an atmosphere that does not promote harassment or violence. The Community Advocacy and Outreach Manager also participates in the youth violence prevention team which ensures current youth prevention programming is delivered in a strategic and effective manner. The Community Advocacy and Outreach Manager provides emergency, on-call coverage for the 24-7 crisis hotline on a rotating basis.
