A service is offering an immediate position for a Billing Clerk to complete and oversee a variety of assignments by processing monthly employer billings, prepare reports as required, assist with various mailings, and enter data on a daily basis.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Responsibilities:

• Precise data entry when needed to ensure accuracy of benefit levels
• Understanding of plans and coding system to ensure others are receiving correct information
• Work to ensure timeliness in processing all billing information
• Respond to inquiries and complaints from members, employers, and agents
• Maintain records and prepare correspondence
• Perform work as assigned with focused attention to detail
• Maintain work load by establishing priorities, while effectively coordinating daily assignments

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with some college
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and office functions
• Must have strong Word, Excel, Outlook, AS400, Image Silo, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint skills
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with others
• Must be able to set priorities and determine when situations require management intervention
• Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure, while having excellent organization skills
• Ability to work proficiently and efficiently in a timely manner is important
• Must be able to obtain and utilize sensitive information discreetly and objectively
