Description

Professional, hands-on, customer service driven, creative thinker and problem solver responsible for the oversight of the warehouse and all its processes; including shipping and receiving functions and the receipt and distribution of company mail, both external and interoffice.  Oversee performance and process improvement activities within the team, ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operation that complies with all state, federal, and international regulatory laws, standards, and protocols.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Management of warehouse staff and operations including marketing order fulfillment
  • Team expert and administrator of the shipping and receiving software
  • Support technology teams
    • relocating, storing, and organizing equipment
    • with the lease/returns lifecycle processes
    • coordinating disposal of discarded technology hardware and other electronics
  • Daily mail pickup, sorting, and filtering incoming mail for various departments
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and clean warehouse managing inventory of stocked items and supplies with respective departments
  • Maintain open communication with representatives of commonly used carriers/vendors
  • Respond to customer and employee requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Report maintenance, cleaning, or safety issues that require attention
  • Resolve customs related shipping disputes
  • Oversee and provide training to Facilities team members on a variety of topics including powered industrial trucks inspections, operation, and maintenance
  • Deliver a positive, professional, friendly environment that puts customer satisfaction first and foremost
  • Identify areas of continuous improvement, establishing new and updated processes including development of shipping and receiving reporting with analysis
  • Other duties as assigned including, not limited remediating safety issues in a timely manner and assist in facilities related projects or tasks

 

Requirements and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a mailroom/warehouse
  • 1+ years in a supervisory or manager role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Ability to email, text, and effectively use applications via company issued smartphone
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workloads
  • Ability to multi-task and pivot on short notice
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of international import/export customs requirements
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving software
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive company vehicles and a small box truck
  • Proficiency with operating a powered industrial truck and hydraulic lift

 

Target Annual Salary Range: $45,405 - 64,865
