Machine Assembly – Mechanical and Electrical Controls

Isthmus Engineering & Manufacturing Co-op, a Madison manufacturer of Custom Automated Machinery for a variety of industries, has an immediate need for machine assemblers. We are looking for self-motivated individuals with experience in machine building, or other relative skills and experience, to join our team. Electrical Control Assemblers Ideal candidate will have experience in industrial control panel assembly and machine wiring techniques. Must be detail oriented, able to read and interpret electrical prints, well versed in NFPA 79, NFPA 70 and UL508 wiring standards. Mechanical assembly and pneumatic/hydraulics experience is a definite plus. A master electrician license is also desirable. Mechanical Assemblers Ideal candidate will have experience in precision machine assembly, machine de-bug and machining. Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work both independently and with a team. Associate degree (or other formal training) and computer skills are required. Hydraulics, electrical controls, precision alignment, or welding experience is a plus.
