Computer Engineer Computer Engineer needed to design various digital control circuits and integrate with robotics, mechanics, hyd raulic, and pneumatic systems, as needed, to improve the performance and automation of equipment throughout the facility. This employee must also have the ability to design, create schematics and drawings, direct projects to implement changes of electronic, robotics, electrical, programmable logic controllers, PC, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics in order to better improve the performance and automation of equipment, design and direct projects to build new equipment for specialized processes and I or products through the application of automatic controls, digital systems (computer systems), electromagnetics, electronics, electrical power and communication and signal processing. This employee will work to test existing network backbone and infrastructure and identify bottlenecks. Design, recommend and implement a networking solution to increase throughput where needed and isolate IBM eServer and Application server on their own gigabit network backbone. Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, related field, or the equivalent required as well as familiarity with Motion Control , CAD/CAM design and programming, CNC machining, production plant automation, software development, and R&D. Minimum of 24 months experience as Computer Engineer, IT Systems Designer, or Software Designer required.
