Job Summary: Under the general guidance of the Financial Improvement Manager, the Ambulatory Billing Assistant Manager is responsible for monitoring, auditing and identifying issues in the Billing area. The Ambulatory Billing Assistant Manager will also provide support and supervision to the Ambulatory Biller/Coders, in the respective areas as needed. The Ambulatory Billing Assistant Manager will notify the Financial Improvement Manager of any disruptions or events resulting in an inability to meet department goals. Will be responsible to develop and implement any new billing systems and write the appropriate policies and procedures for the staff to follow. Special projects may be assigned by the Financial Improvement Manager as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree and four years of relevant progressive experience in a supervisory/administrative capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Strong communication skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills necessary. Strong working knowledge of billing, coding and collection policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years relevant experience in a supervisory/administrative capacity.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, 8 am -4:30pm
