Under the direction of the Administrative Director, Radiologists and Interventional Supervisors, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of specialized and general procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. These procedures include, but are not limited to, specialized medical imaging modalities such as computed tomography. Responsible for patient care with no age limitations.

Requirements:
Required: AART Computerized Tomography Board Certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.  Certification with Bureau of Environmental Radiation Protection (BERP) as a Radiologic Technologist required at the time of hire or within ninety (90) days after hire.  Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Must have BLS certification at the time of hire or within 2 weeks of hire date.  Currently licensed by the State of New York to practice Diagnostic Medical Radiography.  Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.  One year active experience, a graduate of an accredited CT program OR successful completion of a CT Internship.  Must be certified by NY State for the injection of contrast material.
