Looking for extra income? Not wanting to be tied down to a job every day? The Bonner County Daily Bee is looking for Substitute Carriers to deliver newspaper routes as full time or part time support carriers. Our compensation package is very competitive and we will make it worth your time! The ideal candidate would make themselves available 2 (or more nights a week), in the event a Contracted Carrier is unavailable to perform their route for the night, carrier sick days, or predetermined vacation days. Substitute Carriers should not expect to receive calls to deliver a down route past 1 AM while on-call. Substitutes will have direct contact with both the District Manager and a designated carrier who will provide direction regarding the need for coverage on any given night. The Bonner County Daily Bee Substitute Carriers are independent contractors, not employees. They must be at least 18 years of age, with reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
