The Victorville Daily Press, a subsidiary of GateHouse Media, has an immediate opening for an experienced outside salesperson.

This full-time position includes salary, lucrative monthly commission plan, bonus opportunities, excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, 401(k) with match, and more.

What you will be doing:

* Maintain and grow an existing list of customers * Create new business through daily cold calling, lead development, referrals, networking and more * Achieving monthly revenue goals * Collaborate with management * Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings * Sell our entire portfolio of print and digital products * Maintain and update a database of sales activity

Qualifications needed:

* Two or more years of outside sales experience (media sales preferred) * Proven history of successful outside sales * Demonstrate knowledge of selling techniques including prospecting, overcoming objections, presentation skills, closing sales * Keen listening skills to quickly assess a client's needs * Must possess a reliable, insured vehicle, valid California driver's license and have a good driving record.
