All positions within the plant, "this position also has accountability for QRMP standards as outlined in the Garland QRMPaccountability documents.

Under direction of the supervisor, this person would perform various job tasks in various departments. In cooperation with the line crew, this position supports production operations. This includes responsibility and authority to achieve cost, quality, safety,morale and service objectives.

 

IF AWARDED THE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE MOVED IMMEDIATELY.MOVEMENTS WILL TAKE PLACE IN PHASES TO ENSURESTAFFING STABILITY ON ALL SHIFTS. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Place components of meat, cheese, crackers, and treats inindividual trays• Perform period cleaning duties as dictated by the period cleaning schedule• Cleaning of equipment according to all Kraft sanitationguidelines.• Provide assistance on changeovers of equipment.• Perform various housekeeping duties including sweeping,emptying trashcans, paper wagons and trash wagons.• Keep work area in a clean and orderly fashion. Adhere to all Company and Garland Plant GMPs along with rules andregulations.• Responsible for compliance with the safety policy andaccident prevention and compliance programs.• This person has the responsibility to operate under the Kraft Heinz Safety Values.• Adhere to all safety and environmental policies, procedures and compliance programs.• Work toward achieving an injury free environment.• Responsible for reviewing work areas for potential losses and loss control opportunities and for reporting hazards, injuries/illnesses, and other losses to supervisors.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or presently enrolled in a GED program

LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, andprocedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports andcorrespondence. Ability to speak effectively before groupsof customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Basic math skills

 

REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply logical understanding tocarry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concretevariables in standardized situations.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.TRAINING On-the-job.

HOURS/WEEK: Full-Time Monday – Friday (11:00pm – 7:30am)Overtime and/or weekend work, as required by demand.
