The Richmond Times-Dispatch, a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper in Virginia's capital city, is seeking an editorial page editor who can lead the community in civil discourse about issues critical to life in the Richmond region and the entire state.

Our next editorial page editor is someone who will focus on highlighting a variety of voices and perspectives on our digital platforms, our daily editorial page and our Sunday commentary pages.

A successful candidate should be able balance writing several local editorials each week, working with columnists, editing submitted op-eds and reviewing letters to the editor. We seek someone with a minimum of five years of general news experience and two years' experience writing or editing commentary. A knowledge of Richmond and Virginia news, politics and history is strongly encouraged.

Our editorial editor will work closely with the executive editor and the publisher, as well as the community at large. A strong digital focus is vital to this role.
