South Side Area School District is seeking a full-time, unarmed security guard. Experience in law enforcement, security, and/or an education environment are preferred.  Essential Duties include but not limited to:

• Monitor the students, staff and campus guests to ensure their safety and well-being
• Monitor campus grounds and make perimeter checks
• Ensure proper sign in procedures are followed using the Raptor System
• Monitor and maintain order during campus hours, after-school events and activities
• Monitor guests utilizing the playground and track
• Monitoring of camera systems
• Communicate effectively with District Police Officers, District administration and staff
• Complete school resource officer training (NASRO) – provided by the district
• Other security duties as necessary
