Director of Institutional Advancement: Full Description (PDF)
Miles Community College is currently accepting applications for a Director of Institutional Advancement.  This position provides leadership and strategic direction for private resource development, public and private grant development, internal and external communications, and marketing.  This position also serves as chief liaison to the MCC Foundation and its officers.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in related field.  Experience should include demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning process, project management and grant development. Demonstrated knowledge of philanthropic principles surrounding donor cultivation, planned giving and annual giving. Experience should include knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and investment principles.

(MCC Students Only) AAC West Campus Student Event Staff/Custodian – Live-in Position: Full Description (PDF)
Miles Community College is currently accepting applications for two Student Event Staff/Custodian positions at the Ag Advancement Center (AAC).  Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this position performs a variety of support for the Ag Advancement Center. Responsibilities include monitoring the event calendar and executing the Facilities Use Agreement with renters for the AAC. This position will also be responsible for providing custodial support before and after events including wiping down bathrooms, sweeping/mopping foyer area, cleaning trash from the bleacher area and general pickup/removal of garbage and manure, including parking areas. Responsibilities also include ensuring the building is open to groups or individuals renting the space as well as ensuring the building is secured and locked after events.  This position is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance and repair on all arenas, grounds and some buildings.

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in MCC for Fall 2024.   Excellent communication skills are required.  Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, bend, stretch, stand for extended period of time, climb stairs/ladders, reach, twist, sit, walk and/or run.   Must maintain residence in the Ag Advancement Center apartment.

Learning Center Instructor: Full Description (PDF)
Miles Community College is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Learning Center Instructor who is able to teach or instruct out-of-school youth and adults in developmental education classes, preparatory classes for the High School Equivalency Test, literacy, or English as a Second Language. This position will tutor and provide general academic and study skill support to college students in a variety of subjects.  This is a full-time, nine-month position with a start date of August 15 and end date of May 15 payable over 12 months with a 12-month competitive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Two to four years related experience in teaching or tutoring. Interest in working with adults to improve their basic skills, commitment to alternative educational opportunities including the HiSET program. Ability to relate to and converse with people of diverse backgrounds and educational levels. Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment and solve problems independently. Strong technical computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with a student information/educational management system or database and experience utilizing electronic or virtual tools for instruction preferred.

Full Time Nursing Instructor: Full Description (PDF)
Miles Community College is seeking a dynamic, learning-centered, student-oriented individual to instruct nursing students for our Associate Degree Registered Nurse Program.  This is a full-time, nine-month teaching appointment which is renewable annually based upon satisfactory job performance.  Overload and summer teaching opportunities are sometimes available.  The college provides a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or current enrollment in an MSN program required. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in clinical nursing.  Teaching experience preferred. Unencumbered RN license in the State of Montana Required.
