Orenco Systems, Inc. — a leading engineering, research, and manufacturing firm in the wastewater technology industry has a job opening for a Buyer I or II.
The responsibility of the Buyer is to act as an agent of Orenco in the procurement activities for assigned commodities. Primary responsibilities also include purchasing/inventory control, cost evaluations, customer service and supplier relations.
Requirements include: At least one year of purchasing experience with a two-year college degree preferred. Must have basic math skills and proficiency in computer skills including Word and Excel—word processing/spreadsheets, and emails—in addition to being detail-oriented and demonstrate effective written/verbal communication skills. Occasional travel may be required, so the candidate must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company insurability requirements.
