SALARY:

 

$50.00/hour for work directly with students

$29.10 for prep time            

 

DUTIES:

 

1. Responsible to the building Principal.

2. Keep student attendance records in Power Teacher (Summer) and follow up with absenteeism.

3. Implement Program pre- and post-tests.

4. Provide timely information to families and students

5. Help students build and enhance skills in the extended instructional time curriculum

5. Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at times designated

6. Plan a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests

and abilities of the students

7. Provide lesson plans to School Program Coordinator in advance

8. Provide progress reports and final reports to School Program Coordinator by the deadline

9. Support the implementation of PBIS where applicable

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1. Experience in communicating effectively with parents.

2. Knowledge in the goals and requirements of the Common Core and State Curriculum Frameworks and Assessments.

3. Experience working in collaboration with administrators and teachers.

4. Extraordinary organizational and inter-personal skills

5. Availability required for entire program work schedule.

6. Secured position for school year 2022-2023.

7. Must hold a valid and current Department of Elementary and Secondary Education educator license; Bachelor’s degree with appropriate license or Master’s degree with appropriate content area.
