Accountant

The Eufaula Housing Authority is accepting applications for the position of Accountant. This position is responsible for all accounting duties for two housing authorities comprised of multiple accounts, programs and grants as well as a non-profit agency. In addition, the position includes human resource functions.

Minimum qualifications in a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (CPA preferred), at least 4 years experience in a similar position, excellent organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of GAAP. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the Housing Authority’s insurance carrier.

Applications are available at the Housing Authority Central Office located at 737 South Orange Avenue in the Chattahoochee Courts Housing Complex, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 11:30 am.
