Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. Three years warehousing and delivery driver experience; Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Must be bonded at the time of appointment and during employment; Must provide a DMV printout within five (5) work days of offer of employment; Valid CA Commercial Driver's License - Class B w/ Air Brake Certificate; Valid medical examiner's certificate issued in accordance with the motor carrier safety regulations of the Department of Motor Vehicles; Department of Transportation Power Industrial Truck Operator's Permit to be obtained within the first sixty (60) days of employment; Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility and stamina to safely push/pull and maneuver large mobile food service equipment containing 300 to 400 pounds of food and supplies and repetitively load cases ranging in weight from 40 to 100 pounds.
