The Southeast Tennessee Development District located in Chattanooga, Tennessee has an opening
for the position of a Recovery Success Coach. This role will serve ten counties in Southeast
Tennessee in supporting the Agency’s initiatives to strengthen the recovery-to-work continuum by
working with individuals and employers who are adversely affected by the substance use disorder
crisis. Duties will include, but not limited to, making needs-based referrals, communications with a
variety of partners and employers, ongoing development, and promotion of the recovery-to-work
program.
The ideal candidate must have an associates degree and a working knowledge of the substance use
system and available resources. Experience in workforce development, human resources, or
recruiting is preferred. Must have, or willing to obtain, certification as Certified Peer Recovery
Specialist. Also, good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and being fully proficient in
Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
