Job Summary  

PRADCO Outdoor Brands (POB) operates a facility that employees 75-120 people and processes thousands of deliveries each day. POB is seeking individuals for various order processing, stocking, and inventory maintenance tasks. This position is located at PRADCO’s Distribution Center in Calera, Alabama.  

Job Responsibilities  

  • Responsible for verifying, and accurately picking all products per customer delivery.   

  • Capable of picking products using Radio Frequency Scanners and /or Pick to Light application.   

  • Ability to perform all other departmental job functions in accordance with the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), Standard Work, and the current Quality Initiatives.  

  • Assist in the daily efforts of ensuring that all quality targets set forth for the departments are achieved and report any/all picking related quantity discrepancies/ issues (shortages, overages, damages, incorrect UPC’s and miss-packed items) to a Team Lead or Outbound Manager.

Essential Job Functions  

  • Employee must able lift or move more than 60 pounds on a regular basis and stand for up to ten hours a day.     

  • The individual must assist in making daily workflow decisions and adjust manpower as necessary.     

  • The capacity to interact and communicate with coworkers and the boss in an effective manner. 

  • Experience working with Microsoft OS and the 365 platform, as well as some iOS experience and the ability to interface handheld scanning devices to both. 

  • The work environment is typical of an unacclimatized warehouse, with air temperature fluctuating with the weather.
