Engineering Remote Care Engineer II: St. Jude Medical in Sylmar, CA seeks qualified Remote Care Engineering II. Responsibility for performing moderate complexity Tier II technical support and environment validation activities for medical devices. Bachelors degree in Electric Engineering, Biomed Engineering, Ind Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or in highly related field of study required with at least 2 years of experience in: (i) developing and demonstrating techniques to utilize physiological signals for feedback-based control and its application in medical device industry; (ii) utilizing custom hardware and software to devise novel neuro-physiological signal processing circuits; (iii) designing and testing circuits and graphical user interfaces to perform physiological signal processing using Real-time Processor Visual Design Studio ("RPvdsEx"), OpenEx Suite; (iv) coding in Matlab, Maple, MapleSim, C & C++ languages, HTML, Labview, Python & Perl; & (v) analyzing data using software packages like Sigmaplot, R, SPSS.
