Job Summary:
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Coppin State University (CSU) invites applications for multiple Adjunct faculty positions in Mathematics or Statistics in Spring 2023. The successful candidate should have a master’s degree in mathematics or statistics and is expected to attend faculty development activities and teach undergraduate courses with a commitment to excellence in teaching using Blackboard Ultra learning management system. Also, the applicant should be able to teach day and/or evening classes. For the purposes of reappointment, emphasis will be placed on teaching effectiveness, class learning evaluation, and grade reporting promptness. A maximum of three courses (3-credit hours or a combination of 4-credit hours) or less workload is assigned to accommodate the availability suitable to the adjunct’s schedule.

Participate in faculty development activities in the department, generally at the beginning of the semester.

It is expected that the person in this position will be able to teach standard undergraduate courses in mathematics and/or statistics to support our mathematics and computer science department.
