Job Summary: |
Perform patient scheduling duties including coordination of new patient referrals. Pre-register/register and discharge patients. Complete chart preparation and obtain all necessary records prior to patient appointment. Obtain referrals, orders, STAT authorizations and perform document scanning. Respond to ROI requests, ensure safe handling of patients records/information. Answer Radiation Oncology department main phone lines and direct caller/ respond accordingly. Run weekly/monthly reports for the purpose of patient rescheduling and opening monthly billing accounts. Upload radiology images to Upstate PACS System. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
New York State Department of Civil Service Eligible List or eligible for transfer. *Now accepting provisional applicants! To be considered for a Provisional appointment: Must have one year permanent full-time experience as a Nursing Station Clerk 1 or Hospital Patient Services Clerk 1. |
