Adjunct Faculty - Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology and Biology at our Chattanooga State campus!

Position Available Spring 2018 - Anatomy and Physiology - Microbiology - Biology Under the supervision of the Division Dean or Lead Faculty, faculty have as their chief duty the instruction of assigned classes. This duty takes precedence over all others. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, other duties may be assigned by their supervisors. They are also obligated to abide by and support college policies as set forth in the College Catalog, Adjunct Faculty Handbook, and Employment Agreement. Faculty must be committed to the community college philosophy as well as the goals and objectives of Chattanooga State Community College.

The role will be responsible for the following:

- Develop course lessons, exercises, and examinations.

- Conduct classroom and/or laboratory using modern instructional techniques.

- Maintain records of attendance, test grades, lab performance.

- Evaluate class and individual programs.

Position Requirements: To qualify to teach both lecture and lab, at least a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning with no less than 18 graduate semester credit hours in Biology/Anatomy & Physiology/Microbiology or related field. To teach a lab, an instructor must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with at least 30 undergraduate credit hours in the discipline.
