Job Summary | Utilizes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to design, implement, and manage geospatial data. Uses a variety of tools and methods to capture and store spatial information from multiple sources. Uses precision, thoroughness, and critical thinking to maintain the highest standard of data integrity. Works closely with customers from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds to produce a diverse range of maps and other spatial products. Develops and manages processes to capture and deliver data, and trains customers and users on how to effectively interact with data. Works in conjunction with relevant colleagues across the organization, including University Information Technology, Commuter Services, Campus Planning, University Surveyors, and others. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Minimum three years of experience in a related area required. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. |
