Job Description

Operates and maintains stationary engines and electro-mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, compressors, generators and steam boilers, and chillers) to provide for utility service for the hospital complex. 

6pm-6am - $2/hour shift differential 

External candidates eligible for $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Salary minimum: $27/hour

Qualifications

City of Des Moines 1st Class Engineer's License within 90 days of hire. Ability to understand Mechanical and Electrical Systems, and basic blueprints. Basic building automation computer skills. High school diploma or GED.
