The responsibilities of this classification include providing customer and administrative service in support of the King County Superior Court Jury Department. This support involves receiving and handling inquiries and/or complaints and responding to information requests. The incumbent may provide operational support in other areas within the court as needed.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week. Hours of work are variable between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is FLSA non-exempt (hourly) and overtime-eligible.

Work Location: This position is based in the King County Courthouse, 516 Third Avenue, Seattle. The incumbent will be required to work at other Superior Court locations needed.

The following duties are not intended to represent the entire functional capacity of the position at the task level:
Provide jury-program-specific information to the public and other internal and external customers.
Coordinate activities with various court customers, management, co-workers, contractors and other agencies.
Interview and screen customers to determine what program-specific documentation and/or services are needed. Provide technical assistance and/or training to co-workers and internal and external customers with regard to appropriate services and procedures.
Determine validity, correctness and completeness of information received.
Establish, maintain code, modify, track and/or retrieve information and compile data which may require information searches.
Handle multiple-step transactions.
Compose, draft, summarize, prepare, proofread and/or edit documents.
Provide safety information to customers and co-workers.
May perform monetary transactions; make daily deposits; perform customer tracking functions.
May represent organization at various functions and make presentations.
Perform other duties of a similar nature and level.
High school diploma or GED and two or more years' experience performing general information processing sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
Special requirements: The ability to reliably travel throughout the county is required. Finalists are subject to the Washington State Patrol criminal background check and a reference check. Criminal background records are not automatically disqualifying.
