Job Description
Lincoln Memorial University College of Dental Medicine Faculty Practice is seeking a highly motivated, professional, friendly, patient-driven Dental Office Manager to join our practice! The ideal candidate is a confident, strong communicator who is well-organized and can multi-task while ensuring high-quality care is given to the patient. A good understanding of systems while exhibiting flexibility is essential. This candidate needs to be a self-starter, a hard worker, have an exceptional attitude (positive and flexible), enjoy what they do, and seek to be a leader. The candidate must effectively develop a strong working relationship with the dental faculty and business operations while promoting teamwork. Being computer literate and having a good command of the English language is necessary. This role is vitally important in maintaining the highest level of dental care provided to our valued patients.
Required Qualifications
. Two years of dental office experience is required. Use of Dental Terminology, Knowledge of Dental Procedures, Knowledge of General Bookkeeping, Teamwork, Health Promotion, Well-spoken, Knowledge of an electronic health record software, Excellent Communication and Listening Skills

. Possesses a working knowledge of dentistry that assists the doctor and clinical team to explain treatment methods to patients

. Oversees the scheduler to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly schedules are efficient, and appointments are scheduled promptly by following guidelines of block scheduling

. Maintains and monitors the accuracy of Fuse data

. Efficiently and effectively maintains and monitors daily, weekly, and monthly progress on production/collection goals to streamline operations

. Ensures the accuracy of the daily deposit by balancing all monies and credit cards and placing them in the safe before the end of each day

. Maximizes payment for procedures daily via payment on the day of service

. Files all dental/medical insurance and maximizes insurance benefits for patients

. Regularly monitors delinquent recall appointments and reactivates inactive patients by following the current protoc

. Assumes the role of the primary patient marketer of the individual practice, is competent with internal marketing concepts, and is comfortable with being the face of the practice
