Department Head/ Instructor Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology 12 Month/Full-time Position

Responsible for developing and instructing courses with the Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology diploma curriculum, utilizing current industry standards and practices. Ongoing duties include student recruitment, developing and managing budgets, ordering equipment and applies, and developing class schedules. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, academic counseling, job placement assistance, interaction with Advisory Committee membership, serving on college committees, and participating in college activities. Diploma or higher in Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology, or related discipline coupled with appropriate experience, or a high school diploma coupled with outstanding professional experience required. Four plus years as a diesel and/or heavy equipment technician and community college teaching experience is preferred.

SALARY: Based on education and experience.

START DATE: November 16, 2020
