Yosemite Mariposa County Tourism Bureau is seeking a Communications Manager. 

This person will be responsible for overseeing all communications efforts for the organization which includes; website, social media platforms, marketing materials and public relations. Knowledge of Yosemite and Mariposa County is recommended. 

Position Summary: 

Working as part of the Yosemite Mariposa County Tourism Bureau (YMCTB) team and reporting to the Executive Director, the Communications Manager is responsible for developing a robust marketing and communications strategy to support YMCTB’s mission to increase TOT in Mariposa County in the shoulder season. 

This position is responsible for developing and implementing media and public relations strategies as well as marketing strategies including management of all current and future modes of outside communication i.e. websites, social media and newsletters for YMCTB. 

This position is largely responsible for overseeing content development for the organization. As such, knowledge of Yosemite National Park, Mariposa County and an interest in outdoor recreation is strongly recommended. 

This position also leads in the development of marketing collateral materials, content development for all platforms, and executes various public relations tactics. Additionally, this position may supervise outside consultants, vendors and support staff whom provide media relations, website development, graphic design and web services.
