Job SummaryAssesses patients on admission to determine appropriate candidates for peripherally inserted catheters. Places PICC (peripherally inserted central catheters) or midline catheters across the health care system. Cares for specific patient populations, using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with nursing personnel and other health care professionals to ensure appropriate IV access, care, and outcomes according to diagnosis and patient care needs.Essential FunctionsPrimary Location
