Our company is currently looking for a Commercial Constuction Superintendent with new, ground up, and remodel experience. Extensive experience in the commercial industry preferred. Ideal candidates will be able to commute or live in close proximity to our office. This individual must understand the project is priority and will do what ever it takes to get the project completed on schedule. This Superintendent will oversee the daily construction activities at the work site, including coordination with clients, scheduling of workers and subcontractors, delivery of equipment and materials, and progress of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with subcontractors to ensure completion of the project within the given budget and time frame.
  • Conduct inventories of materials, anticipate needs and requirements, and continually coordinated with the Project Manager for uninterrupted flow to maintain the work schedule.
  • Permit supervision including scheduling inspections and meeting w/ inspectors on site.
  • Acts to implement and enforce safety measures and report all safety violations to the Project Manager.
  • Solve Problems within his/her authority and takes responsibility for decisions.
  • Responsible for weekly production reports, time cards, and other records to turn into the office.
  • Maintain a good operating relationship w/ other employees, material suppliers, clients, and the general public.

Job Requires:

  • Ground Up experience in Commercial Construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blue print reading.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability is essential.
  • Computer skills; Outlook, word, and Excel.
  • Extensive travel is required.
