WORK HOURS

The Extruder Machine Operators work a full time, 3-day work week with a set schedule.  The shifts available are:

Shift A – Monday through Wednesday 7:45am to 8:15pm – Accepting Resumes

Shift B – Monday through Wednesday 7:45pm to 8:15am – Actively Hiring

Shift C – Thursday through Saturday 7:45am to 8:15pm – Actively Hiring

Shift D – Thursday through Saturday 7:45pm to 8:15pm – Actively Hiring

$1 shift differential for Shift B and Shift D

**New employees will train on day shift for 1-2 weeks (5–8-hour days) before being assigned to the 3 work day schedule. **

JOB SUMMARY
The operator will be responsible for maintaining, controlling, and operating the extrusion equipment used in the manufacturing of HDPE poly pipe and conduit. The machine operator will also be responsible for record keeping regarding production logs and specification.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Set up machinery for operation
· Start machinery and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance
· Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
· Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
· Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
· Comply with all safety and health regulations
· Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
