Homemaker

Home Health Aide

Homemaker: Public Health has an opening for a part-time Homemaker. Duties for the Homemaker include: Housecleaning, laundry and grocery shopping services in client homes. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid state issued driver’s license or evidence of equivalent mobility is required.

Home Health Aide: Public Health has an opening for a part-time Home Health Aide. Provides personal hygiene and health care services to the elderly, disabled or ill persons in their home, including bathing, toileting, dressing, shaving, exercises and rehabilitation. Performs simple medical functions; prepares meals; performs light housekeeping duties including cleaning the kitchen or washing dishes.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and minimal experience working with the assigned client group, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license in the State of Minnesota or evidence of equivalent mobility is required; Minnesota home health aide certification.

Homemaker and Home Health Aide benefits include prorated paid time off and holiday pay; mileage reimbursement.
Position is hourly with no guarantee of hours; hours vary depending on caseload and flexible scheduling; daytime Monday thru Friday (no weekends or holidays).
Must submit a completed Le Sueur County application form.
