RWJBarnabas Health System is Seeking Trained General Anesthesiologists for Employment Throughout New Jersey

RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest integrated healthcare system, is seeking board-certified/board-eligible Anesthesiologists for full-time employment opportunities with call required at multiple locations throughout New Jersey. Our system, which contains 12 acute care hospital locations and several outpatient and specialty centers across the state, is actively hiring qualified candidates to join our network of seasoned physicians and dedicated support staff.

These opportunities will allow for work-life balance and provide new staff with access to state-of-the-art medical facilities and opportunities for academic collaboration and appointment through our partnership with Rutgers University. As a member of our system, you will be joining one of New Jersey’s busiest and most diverse health systems with exciting opportunities for career growth and mentorship.

Our Northern locations provide the chance to practice in highly sought-after areas just minutes away from the New York City skyline, top-notch schools, famous restaurants, and state of the art shopping centers. We are actively recruiting for opportunities with:

  • Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston NJ
  • Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch NJ
  • Community Medical Center, Toms River NJ

Newly graduating residents and fellows are encouraged to apply to this role. Please note that current trainees can earn up to $50,000 with the Resident/Fellowship stipend program if they choose to join RWJBH during the final year of training!

Successful candidates must be:

  • ABA board-certified or board-eligible for new graduates
  • Completed Anesthesiology residency (open to subspecialty and fellowship training as well)
  • Willing to participate in required on-call schedules
  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ (candidates with a NJ license will be preferred at this time)
