Sports Coach Positions

Coach & Assistant Coach

Preston Plains Middle School is seeking head coach and assistant coach positions for the following fall sports: •Boys soccer; •Girls soccer; •Cross-Country.

Eligible candidates for the Head Coach position will have the following credentials: •Current State of Connecticut Coaching Permit (including completion of 45 hour coaching class and Module 15 Concussion training); •Current 1st Aid/CPR certification; •Previous experience coaching the sport at the middle school level; •Willingness to positively support middle school students in developing sport-specific skills and sportsmanship. Eligible candidates for the Assistant Coach position will have the following credentials: •Previous experience coaching the sport at the middle school level; •Willingness to positively support middle school students in developing sport-specific skills and sportsmanship.
