Phlebotomist I

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria has a full-time Phlebotomy position available in Cancer Biology and Pharmacology.  This position will be responsible for explaining our new Precision Medicine Initiative program to new participants, processing enrollments, obtaining vitals and biological specimens and submitting them for processing. 

The Civil Service minimum qualifications for the position may be found at: http://www.sucss.illinois.gov/specs/detail.aspx?ID=2137&osm=c19.  A Civil Service exam will be administered to qualified candidates.  Certification plus two years phlebotomy experience, computer software knowledge, excellent customer service skills and own transportation preferred.
