Job Summary | The University of Utah Athletics Department invites applications for the position Senior Director of Athletic Training Services and Athletics Health Care Administrator. This position, which will have a dual reporting line to the Director of Sports Medicine and Chief Safety Officer and the Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Operating Officer. Responsibilities | Athletics will appoint a qualified professional and leader to serve as the Senior Director of Athletic Training Services and Athletics Health Care Administrator. This position, which will have a dual reporting line to the Director of Sports Medicine and Chief Safety Officer and the Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Operating Officer, will include the following responsibilities: Specific Roles and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications | Must be a certified Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician with at least seven years’ experience working in a high-performance environment and in a leadership role. Additional education, management, and leadership training, or certification in the areas of Sports Medicine or Orthopedics and Business Administration.
Skills • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Ability to lead, inspire, and work in a collaborative manner. • Ability to build and nurture key professional relationships.
